Small Dog Dose is One Every Other Day Purchased this for my pooch as he has allergies and itches 2-4x a day. I already have him on a healthy holistic raw food diet and give him one ingredient treats. Also put enzymes on food to help w/ digestion issues. The instructions says if you have a small dog you can give one tablet every other day. Big capsules hard to open Unfortunately, the capsules are too big. they might be fine for dogs to munch on, but it is hard to crack open to put in our cats’ food. Our cats tried biting them and there was oil all over the floor and they couldnot swallow the large capsules. Then i tried a scissors and finally a sharp knife to get the oil out of each capsule. Good for his condition and overall health. So far his I find the dandruff is less along with a shampoo that is specific for his skin condition. I find the capsules a little to big and end up throwing away 1/4 of it. I do find that my cat that has renal failure gets sick after eating food with the omega on it which saddens me since she could use the good properties. All and all I would recommend this product.
